Your Invitation to Join

Membership in Mensa is open to persons who have attained a score within the upper two percent of the general population on an approved intelligence test. There is no other qualification or disqualification.

Two Ways to Qualify

Choose the path that works best for you to officially join our ranks.

Take the Mensa Test

Sit for the official Mensa Admissions Test. These tests are supervised by certified proctors. You can easily find an upcoming local testing session through the national portal.

Find a Testing Session

Submit Prior Evidence

Submit a qualifying score from another supervised standardized test. Many people find this a quick and easy way to qualify on tests they have already taken (e.g. LSAT, GMAT, and certain older SAT/ACTs).

Need Local Testing Accommodations?

Locally, qualification tests are arranged and overseen by our GLAAM Testing Coordinator. Mensa tests must be supervised by certified proctors, and we are incredibly grateful to our volunteers who make this possible.

While the national portal linked above is the fastest way to find a standard testing session, if you need special accommodations or have specific questions about local logistics, you can find the current Testing Coordinator's phone number on our Contact page.
